After the creation of the association in 1952, Mr Arthur Jessop, a transport consultant, advised the five individual owners grouped under the Route No 1 Bus Service, to form a limited company under the name of Rose-Hill Transport Ltd. The company was registered in 1954. On the first Board of Directors, one could find Mr J. Goburdhun - first Chairman and Managing Director of the company, a fellow of the Institute of Directors U.K. - Mr M. Leal, Mr. F. Maugueret, Mr G.M. Kureeman and Mr Ng Kiam Sin.
